Current transformer unit BTT-40BT (БТТ-40БТ) is a current transformer block designed for operation in the differential current protection system of an AC generator with power up to 40 kVA and its feeder on Mi-8, Mi-17 and Mi-171 helicopters. The unit operates in single-generator mode and provides accurate current transformation for protection and monitoring circuits. BTT-40BT and BTT-40BTM share identical construction and differ only in output voltage characteristics.
