Prima-KV (Прима-КВ) is an airborne high-frequency (HF) radio station designed for long-range telephone and telecode communications on Mi-8, Mi-17 and Mi-171 helicopters. Operating across the 2.0–29.9999 MHz HF band with fine frequency stepping, the set enables beyond-line-of-sight communications with ground control and other aircraft. The system is suitable for rotary-wing operations, offers high output power, reliable performance, and compatibility with helicopter communication architectures as a replacement or upgrade to legacy HF radios.
