TER-1M / ТЭР-1М Temperature Regulator (Windshield Heating)

TER-1M (ТЭР-1М) is a temperature regulator designed for automatic control of the electric windshield heating system on Mi-8, Mi-17 and Mi-171 helicopters. The unit switches the heating system on and off to maintain the preset windshield glass temperature. TER-1M operates in conjunction with the TD-2 wire temperature sensor and a magnetic contactor in the +27 V DC power circuit. Heating control is based on resistance change of the TD-2 sensor bonded to the glass, which triggers the regulator and contactor when the preset temperature is reached. The regulator features a bridge measuring circuit, DC amplifier and converter amplifier.
