VD-10K (ВД-10К) is a barometric two-pointer altimeter designed to measure flight altitude on Mi-8, Mi-17 and Mi-171 helicopters by correlating atmospheric pressure with vertical position. The instrument allows pilots to distinguish between absolute altitude (height above sea level), relative altitude (height above takeoff or landing point), and true altitude (height above terrain), supporting safe flight profile management. VD-10K is built to aviation instrument standards for cockpit installation in rotorcraft and is used as a primary altitude indicator.
