Rectifier VU-6B (ВУ-6Б), including variants VU-6B-1 and VU-6B-2, is a rectifier unit designed to convert three-phase AC power into DC and supply consumers of the secondary DC power system SPTV-2-6 on Mi-8, Mi-17 and Mi-171 helicopters. The unit operates with nominal 200/115 V, 400 Hz three-phase input and supports single or parallel operation with the aircraft battery, as well as parallel operation with multiple rectifier units. Correct operation requires direct phase sequence A-B-C; the integrated cooling fan rotation and airflow direction ensure thermal stability under load.
